Brother Sergeant Omni had been chasing Grendelwulf (for lack of better names) the fallen. His squad of marines numbered only 7. In his squad was his Lieutenant, Brother Jarom (plays the part of the "Dude"), 4 Brethren Helamann, Enoch, Nathan, and Samuel, and Devastator Brother Aaron, and Omni himself. (1000 pt battle)

They had been bent on grendelwulf's capture; he was Brother Sergeant Omni's, literal blood brother. However, during the Heresy, Grendelwulf fell to the dark powers of chaos. Knowing he was being chased throughout the universe, Grendelwulf had bribed Ork Warboss Karghazzzz to stop his righteous brother in his tracks. Little did Karghazzzz know that Omni would do anything to stop him, ANYTHING.

Scenario: eliminate (kill everything, last man standing wins), capture the fallen.

Battle Report:

Brother Sergeant Omni got started by heading the charge in. However, the REAL battle started off when Brother Aaron fired his rockets into the Ork encampment; killing a little more than 20% of the ork force (he had killed all the orks under the template both times. And there were many orks as there wasn’t enough space in the deployment zone to put them even 1” apart). The rest fired their bolters to effectively kill another 17 Orks on top of the 25+ dead ones. Thus, all 4 mobs that were attacked (templates, remember) could not summon their courage and had fled off of the table. The only thing that remained was the boss, a unit of killer khans, and the boss’s mob. Immediately, the boss threw up his hands and the battle was over, and Omni had interrogated Karghazzzz into submission, and continued his quest to find his fallen brother, Grendelwulf.
